    Hi i was informed that you could do a BA(hons) and then after graduating if you decide you want to top it up to an MA, the cost would be added into the student loan (not paid straight away). Is this true?

    Not funded at all. Most people have to apply for a bursary or get a career development loan from the coop or Barclays.

    Thank you. My tutor had told me that it was funded.
    I may go for the MDes at derby, its an extra year and its added onto the student loan

    It'ts only funded in the case of an undergraduate masters e.g. an MEng, MMath where a person does 4 years

    which isn't a postgrad masters, it is an undergraduate qualification, slightly better than a bachelor's degree.

    PGCEs are funded but they're not Masters I suppose

    No they aren't. They are just among a group of vocational qualifications the govt choose to fund after a first degree.
