    Yes it is, the biuret test is a test for proteins, and enzymes are proteins. Adding the biuret agent(equal volume of sodium hydroxide and then few drops of very dilute copper II sulphate solution) and mix gently. Purple means proteins(in this case enzymes) are present, blue means no proteins(or enzymes) are present.

    this should be all you need to know for AS biology, when referring to how it is done, you just need to say that you add biuret reagent

    As Eloades11 said, biuret is an indicator of protein, but isn't specific for enzymes. If you had an unknown sample, a positive biuret test would indicate only the presence of peptides.
