Does anyone know the problems there are with Nativism?
We've had to miss our lesson on the criticisms of Nativisim due to the snow and my textbook isn't very helpful. Adding to this my exam is in January and we are still quite behind

The only issue I can find with nativism comes from John Locke's argument which is if we are born with certain ideas then we would have to be unaware of them to start with so we must be born without any which disputes nativism as the theory is that experience triggers our awareness of these innate ideas.

I'm sure there are other criticisms that concentrate solely on nativism rather than general criticims against innate ideas (like if we had such innate ideas there would be certain truths that all human beings would agree on) but I have only found this one.

Please can you help me out
    Thank you in advance

Sorry if I posted this wrong, this is my first post
