    Im confused about MA courses and 4 year businesses, tried to work it out but dont want to get it wrong - could someone clarify how it works in scotland? in particular to do business/politics at aberdeen or dundee. sooner rather than later, deadlines coming up....:eek:

    All honours courses in Scotland are four years long. You can graduate with a non-honours course after three years, but that is below a Third Class Honours (ie, "a third") in ranking, so very few people do it.

    In ancient universities, an MA (Hons) is the normal undergraduate arts degree. It lasts for four years in Scotland. It is not to be confused with a postgraduate Masters degree.

    thank you in scotland, i heard that students progress slightly differently to english student... like a bridging year in the middle... something like that.
