After graduating in a MA Greek and Latin a few months ago, I have decided I would like to go on to do a master in Translation Studies in the UK, specialising in English-Dutch (or Dutch-English).
I have been looking at different universities in the UK that offer masters in translation with Dutch, and so far I have found two that interest me, UCL and Swansea. I know UCL has a very good reputation, but as it is in London, studying there would be very expensive as well. That is why I am seriously considering Swansea as well, but I don't really know much about it. Could someone tell me a bit more about the academic reputation/achievements of Swansea? How are the lectures in the master Translation Studies? How are the job outlooks? Does it matter whether you graduated from a uni like UCL or from Swansea when you're looking for a job?
I would be very grateful for any comments!
