Poor decision I think that will come back to haunt the club.

Mike Ashley seems to be trying to get the club relegated.

Disgusting, ****ing disgusting. No wonder Newcastle have gone downhill since the early 00's, a poor few games and the board sacks the gaffa.

My mate said O'Neill would get the job. I think he's just being a WUM though to be honest.

Can’t see why they got rid.

Maybe it was the 5-1 victory against Sunderland, or the win away at the Emirates or the point at home to Chelsea or even the 6-0 win against Villa or the fact they’re 11th in their first season back in the premiership!

    Unreal decision!

Very harsh indeed. He doesn't deserve it at all.

It never looked like they've wanted Houghton in charge, and just wanted any chance to sack him so it's not surprising. They better have someone decent lined up though.

 I thought you was trollin. That's a joke, he's done really well so far considering they are newly promoted.

Absolute morons, they'll definitely regret this.

They've just been promoted and are 11th in the EPL, 3 points behind WBA, where Roberto Di Matteo has been praised as an amazing coach and have the same points as Liverpool.

What the hell did they expect? Top four by Christmas??

The thing that 'annoys' me is that it was always on the cards. I feel sorry for the fans.

It's more likely to be the last 5 games without a win, been rather Jekyll and Hyde as a team.

Well actually wouldn't be surprised if he is one of the favourites, but this has to be the most brainless decision ever.
