Hey guys, total noob on the board here but here goes...

I've been handed an assignment for a business plan as part of my HNC Computing course, and given my personality it's highly likely whatever I come up with here will be pursued later in some shape or form. The question here is by drawing up a plan and submitting it for my assignment, would the University have a legitimate claim over some/all of the profits, or even the business itself, should I develop it further outside the lecture room?

    Thanks in advance

Found out in a lecture by chance the other week, but apparently the university does. Although you can request the rights to be transferred back to you.
