# How do I work out the TSS from this? Watch

1. Variance (I) = 900
Variance (S) = 1150
Covariance (I,S) = 1000
Correlation (I,S) = 0.9829
Mean (I) = 96
Mean (S) = 140
R2 = 0.9662

How has this been worked out from the figures given?

Now in the answers I find that TSS = 8100.

But how is one meant to calculate it from the variances/covariances/correlation/mean/rss/r^2 given?

Father Christmas will bring one of you what you want this xmas if you can answer this one ;p Cheers all.
