There's a society event coming up soon at my university that I really want to go to. The problem is no one wants to go with me/are busy! I've been to similar events before with a couple of friends, it was nice people talk to each other meet new ppl etc. But everyone still sticks to their friends group. If I were to go alone would it seem weird? Would I be left out, I mean I can make an effort to talk to people but after the general intro people might just keep it to there cliques. Anyone here go to society events alone regularly. Its a dinner party btw.
