Sorry, I can't help you when it comes to generic, formulaic, endless wobble bass music... but, I can tell you about some real dubstep; the kind that actually takes skill and creativity... Burial (especially the album which is my avatar).

This channel has all that sort of stuff on. In reality albums by Martyna nd Burial are far better though.

I'd also recommend Burial :yy: but I wouldn't categorise it as 'music to cheer me up'.

I dont know if any of you guys were listening to radio ones dubstep show couple of nights ago, but they played this song which they called "The hardest core song of the year" lol

Long shot but any of you know what it was, it was quite deep...not my usual style but I did like it. I cant remember what it was called for the life of me though.

Songs involving the wobble get old very quickly and so (good) albums involving such stuff is very sparsely found.

I will echo other people say if you want good dark dubstep albums, listen to the likes of Burial, because lets face it, Jakwob et al are pretty generic and get old very quick.

Please do everyone a favour in this world though and do not listen to Mt Eden. He is the meaning of rubbish. One of the worst producers ever.

If you want something really chilled out then try Nedry - dubstep/trip-hop/post-rock. They are pretty good live too, you could really feel the bass through the building!
