    Hey,
Baasically i'm looking for a new wooly and warm winter hat as I haven't bought a new one in age, however not sure precisely what will suit and what will border on the ridiculous combined with complexion/coat colours, etc. I really don't like the look of those Peruvian hats very warm as they may be, prefer the pom-pom type beanies (again, so many people have got the animal-face river island hats this year so avoiding that look).

I liked the look of these in river island:

Out of these I would think more the top one, probabl;y would suit me more as i'm blonde quite fair and also got a more neutral coloured coat so would look less garish.

However i'm wondering could I pull these off, or would they just look a bit kiddish? Love the patterns but I tried them on the other day and they really are quite big, the pompom hangs aout way ove rthe back of my head like a santa hat cause my hair's quite flat.
But yeah, just wondering what your opinions are on these extra colourful beanies, nice or safer to go with a boring but monochrome version?
    Thanks!

I like the top one the best too It doesn't seem too childish/garish at all! It'll give your outfit character ^^

Not really my thing to be honest, though I prefer the first one.

But can I just ask if other people's "create the look" for the first one is the same as mine: bikini bottoms and sandals?! :lolwut:

LOL yeah me too. Perhaps they expect us to buy an expensive fur coat to chuck on top of the bikini?

OP: First hat is better, although not my style, still it is cold and dreary outside so childish is better than boring.

    Hmmm...how did you get that?!
Ok i guess the tropical colours and whatnot but you would be pretty freezing. Maybe its just safer to go with something less bright after all

Does the baby come with it? :awesome:

Oh yeah, OP those hats came up HUGE on me, and looked awful. I opted for a tight fitted patch dog beanie (in River Island ) myself.

Those two hats you posted looked great, and colourful in real life, as long as they suit you I don't see why not.

I'm not really a hat fan, but this year, I decided to actually buy a wooly hat. Unfortunately any suggestion I give may be worthless as you honestly won't know what suits you until you try it on. Debenhams have a wide selection of hats, which is where I got mine from. Have a gander in there .
