Is it good to have a part-time job when you are an university student? Watch

    • Thread Starter

A professor in Taiwan lectures about university students shouldn't have a part-time job.
He thinks the students in university only have to do their best in their academic performance.
Most of Taiwan's student don't agree with his opinion, neither do I.
I want to know more other people's thoughts about this question.
Is it good or not? Why?

A lot of students don't have the luxury to make the choice. Some have to do it out of neccesity.

Well I think it is very good to have a part time job as it gives you experience and also looks good on your CV and shows you can multitask.

While I know that some people feel that students should concentrate on studies and not work, I have done both, have worked whilst doing degree and have done 1 year without work. I definately find working was better and I knew a lot more people than before
