I want to go to Sussex or Leicester to do physics with astronomy.

I am expecting that I won't get more than BBB for my a-levels.
Leicester says typical offer BBB whilst Sussex says its entry requirements are AAB-BBB.
However on unistats.direct.gov.uk it says the average Ucas point for entry to Sussex was 300 but at Leicester it was 360.
I have visited both Unis and loved them both so my decision in on which is more likely to accept me.

Any help would be really appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

Universities do take into account that people do better than what they're epxected; if you've got something to work for, then you'll generally achieve it. To be on the safe side, then apply to the one nearest your grades. Can't you apply for both?

If there a reason why you can't apply to both?

    Thanks for all the replies.

I could apply for both but I would rather not as BBB is the best grades I will get. I am much more likely to get BBC (in maths physics and economics. if that makes a difference.
