Hello, Shwmae, Bonjour and so on.
I am Sam, 15, Year 11, you get the idea.
Basically I am predicted all A Grades at GCSE and am hoping that I will be able to achieve that, along with a nifty AAA at A-level. I have always been commended on my creative writing skills, and enjoy writing of, not all, but most kinds. The one type I can't stand is writing about literacy, such as, what I am studying currently in English: Blood Brothers.
I enjoy writing descriptively and narratively and would very much enjoy writing reviews, articles, novels, columns, etc. but I don't know what I want to do. Should I do journalism (which would involve me going through the tedious English lit course at A-level)? Should I go into English teaching (I have been put off by the amount of marking, so this isn't currently an option for me, really)? WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Any replies would be greatly appreciated, especially with any knowledge you have of your suggestion, such as experience, what A-level/uni courses to take, where to go to uni, etc. etc..

I think straight A's will be wasted on an Arts degree.
