I've applied for History and English at Stirling and Strathclyde and I was just wondering how flexible degrees in Scotland can be?
I've heard they're incredibly well looked on due to flexibility, but I was wondering are the flexible enough that if I did History and Politics I could take a few Literature modules, or maybe even switch to History or History and English?

Not sure about Stirling, but with Stratchclyde you'll take three classes in your first year, so you'll be able to do History, English and Politics.
Then in your second year you pick two to carry on, and in third and forth year you can do single or joint.
I don't do those subjects but I study in the faculty so if you have anymore questions I might be able to help

Stirling very flexible. I'm doing a degree in Criminology & Sociology and am also doing modules in Education and Media. Next semester I have chosen to do a module in Criminal Law. Start to specialise in final chosen subject in 3rd year of 4 year degree.

Stirling is very flexible depending on your degree choice. If you do accounting you have no choice whatsoever until second year (and then none again after that). Other degrees will only have one core module and you can do any other subject you like (unless there's a timetable clash). I know people who started her on one degree and they're not graduating with something totally different.
