    Hi

I have recently been accepted at KPMG for the summer vacation programme next year. I never gave any references nor have I been sent my contract yet.

For anyone who has got a place on this scheme or a graduate scheme

how did they check the validity of your previous results such as A-Levels etc and how long did it take for them to send your contract after the initial congratulations email?

    Thanks

You bring your certificates with you on the starting day. If you don't bring them you have to go home and get them.

There's no written contract. It's all online.

I dont know about the contract but I read that PwC ring up the exam boards to check your Qualifications, so KPMG might?

    btw a quick question,
when they say they want academic and employer reference

do you simply fill in the form giving them details of your, say, academic advisor?
or do you contact your academic advisor, get them to write you a reference and send it to them

also what happens if you have no previous formal employment, ie. no employer reference?
