I'm writing an essay about the realist and post-structuralist movements, and wonder if anyone could tell me whether these names should be capitalised or in lowercase? It seems to be different in every book I read, so I'm just a little confused as to which method I should use?! Thank you

Realist should be capitalised, to avoid confusion with the unliterary meaning of the lower-case 'realistic.' Post-structuralism is more flexible, but I'd capitalise it just to be consistent.
