I am planning to apply to UK pretty soon. Right now I am confused about what to study.

I wish to pursue my career in field of accounting. But many people are telling to get my bachelor's done in some other course as studying accounting will give me limited jobs to chose from. And study accounting for my post graduation.

How much of this is true?

You could study maths and accounting. Then if you change your mind later on you can branch of into other maths related careers.
