how many courses/unis can i apply for?

im just putting together my ucas application and picking uni's/courses at the moment and i was sure my study skills tutor had told us that you can apply to up to 5 unis and up to 5 courses at each of them, can someone let me know if this is right or what is right, thanks

Yes that is correct.
5 courses, yes.
You probably misunderstood you tutor.

You can have five different choices, and they can be at five different universities. However, you can apply for different choices at the same university. For example, I could apply for a Criminology course at Leicester, Manchester and Lincoln, and then also apply for a Criminology course at Cardiff, and also a Criminology and Sociology course at Cardiff too. This would then make up my five choices, despite only applying to four universities.

Hopefully that helps
