Hi basically I have completed my application form but conveniently I realised I've put the wrong buzzword in. At the moment I am studying at college and I have keyed in their wrong buzzword. What should I do?

Was it accepted by the UCAS form?

Strangely enough yeah, I put 2010 instead of 2011 after the college initials (UCB).

Ok, it would appear they've linked you to last year's application cycle ... which I would have thought would have been disabled by now, but apparently not.

Speak to whoever handles the UCAS applications in your college, and I reckon it'll probably involve a call to UCAS ... but people do this all the time. Well, maybe not the wrong buzzword, but fail to enter one and it gets sorted.

Are you sure you did this? It's not possible to put in the wrong buzzword - the software won't let you. It has to be a buzzword for somewhere, and then the next step is to confirm the college details.

I'm sure I have, I remember in September this year I logged in college website on Blackboard and they said buzzword is UCB2010 so I did this and it was fine. Then today when I completed the whole UCAS application I got told the buzzword is UCB2011. Now I'm just panicking, but they also told me to go to careers internally (in college) and double check with them if I have the correct buzzword and I think I might do that first thing tomorrow when I go in.
If they can't help me I don't know who can/will.
