smoking attractive?

Does anyone else find smoking attractive in a potential boyfriend/girlfriend? i dont smoke and am quite aware its a 'lifethreatening, terrible addiction' but i cant help being attracted to it. Are you attracted or repelled by smokers?

I am repelled by smoking, it generally disgusts me. Especially when people do it for a so-called 'cool' status. However, there are various Hollywood heavyweights who can pull it off and still look like a sex god, especially in films. Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt spring to mind.

johnny depp would look good whatever he did, i'll still be drooling over him when he's dying of lung cancer!
however, its not attractive in anyone- some people can look good doing it, but it would immediately put me off a guy because unless you smoke too then they smell awful and kissing a smoker is about as nice as cleaning an ashtray with your tongue!

I voted for finding it repulsive in males, but I can't say I enjoy seeing girls smoking either. I just don't see the point of it?

A girl that smokes one or two decent brand cigarettes in a night is fine, but a chain smoking chav with her pack of Mayfair is most certainly a turn off lol

No - both genders. And if the person smokes regularly, even when they're not doing it in your presence, you can still smell it when they lean into you - on their clothes/breath, etc. Yuck.

How many people hooked on smoking actually get much of a kick out of it as opposed to just doing it because they are addicted?

If they like the effects of nicotine, why not just wear patches? They don't a)smell or b)give you cancer, heart disease, reduced fertility...

infact when i see an attractive woman, the cigarette becomes completely transparent :biggrin:

and with men smoking cigars is repulsive because it makes me jealous as i feel i have to run home and light one up myself :frown:

But the stink... the stinky hair and clothes.. the yellowing fingers, bad breath and teeth staining? And how about in 20 years when her skin is sagging and yellowed and she looks haggard. How about waking up to a nice hacking cough every morning? Mmmmmmm. Nice.

I reckon it'd be easier to slap on a patch in the morning than continually take 5 minute breaks (or more!) to fish out **** and lighters from bag/pockets, find somewhere to hurridly smoke and then rush back to wherever they're supposed to be.
