Not that I'm terribly fussed, but every time I've come online over the past week or so, my post count seems to have dropped by around 5-10 posts. I've only realised this because I generally leave with an even number of posts such as 2950. This one was reduced to about 2043. Which threads are being deleted, or possibly which specific posts of mine are being deleted? If I'm doing something wrong, a simple message would suffice.

Who gives a toss about an indication of how much you've posted? It's the communication from one to another that matters.

nothing specific of yours has been deleted, however, sometimes its easier to delete a 10 page swearing match than delete each post individually to save the few good posts

It's the Postcount Gremlins. Long ago, while d was making the forum, he created a bug so vile, that it had to be locked up in a zip folder. Every now and again though, when members go to sleep, these gremlins escape and nibble on people's post counts. They're fairly harmless, so the best thing to do is to ignore them.

Lovely. See people? Thats all I was asking for. A simple, well constructed, rational explanation Thanks by the way Ollie, I hadn't thought of that. My curiosity is now satisfied. Thanks again
