I'm applying for biomed at a few places, my application should be sent off by next week. I'm just a little bit worried that I've left this all too late. I wanted to make sure the course was right for me, but have I put myself at a big disadvantage? With people getting offers already, am I slowly standing less of a chance at getting a place as time goes on? If people say it's not 'first come first served', then how does the whole system work? Thanks for your help everyone!

As long as you apply before January 15th you are not disadvantaged.

No, it's not too late - some unis do make offers before, but only for people that would have definitely received an offer be it now or later, they always keep an appropriate amount of offers back for later in the cycle (and admissions tutors do have a handle on roughly how many will be applying when.)

Also, some unis don't look at any applications until after the 15th of January.

That's a lot off my mind, thanks so much for your reply! (thanks too, Potally Tissed)
