    Hey Everyone

I need some advice and wondered what you lot did? What would you do a masters or a year out in industry?

For the people who worked in industry what kind of industry did you work in and what did you learn from your job? was it worth it?

For the masters student, was doing a masters a better choice then doing a placement year and if so did you get the job you want?

Do a placement year, it will give you invaluable experience, then do a masters full time or part time when you get a job.

I did a masters with a placement - best of both worlds. Placement years are incredibly valuable, they give you some experience to put on your CV. It's even better if you can work internationally during that time (I worked in Switzerland).
