if a girl-friend of yours (who knows that you like her, who has asked out on a date twice, but wants space, doesnt want to date atm) to go out for a coffee/shopping, to get to know each other better.

Or is it better if i ask face to face?

Hmm if you were my friend and you texed me that, I'd be a little surprised that you wanted to get to know me better, as you were supposedly my friend and should know me :p:. Ask her to her face, but if she's making more excuses, then she's probably not interested and doesn't want to ruin your friendship. You might just have to stay "friend zoned" :dontknow:

lol i werent gonna say get to know me better lol thats just silly, i think she might like me a little i mean she said yes to those two dates but it was a bit stupid on my part asking her out 4 weeks after her breaking up with her bf, she said yes so... i dunno what she thinks its a complicated situation, if you want me to pm you what situation i am in with this girl, so youd be able to help me better as that was paraphased the **** out of lol.

i dunno lol shes still talking to me and it aint awkward or anything lol.

Well it's worth a shot though. I think it's irrelivent how you ask her, but if you have an incline that she likes you, then ask her otherwise you'll kick yourself later if you don't find out and she starts dating someone else

Just pick the way you're more comfortable with, in the end it doesn't make a huge difference. Just dont use the 'get to know each other better' excuse, it's gonna sound weirdddd.
