    Im planning on going to New York just buy some clothes are they are so expensive in this country??

    Is this a stupid Idea?? How much on average do flights cost??

    That makes no sense at all.
    You'll be spending more on flights than clothes, when you may as well just spend the money on flights over here on clothes...

    That's completely backwards? I mean - clothes are cheaper in NYC, but not cheaper than the flights! especially at this time of year!

    I wouldn't go out of my way to go to New York just to buy clothes. New York itself is pretty expensive anyway in comparison to the rest of the US. Factor in flights at about £400 and then hotels at anything from £60 a night and the idea is not good at all and completely defeats the point
