maybe because now that you said it, it doesnt seem that you did it to be a good citizen but did it to show off later on TSR... usually if you do a good deed, you dont talk about it and let everyone know

what do you want a medal?

Those things you did are just things people should do anyway, you aren't anything special.

All of which are negatived by the fact that you showed off about it in public. Read your Bible; Matthew 6:1-21.

“Beware of practicing your piety before others in order to be seen by them; for then you have no reward from your Father in heaven. “So whenever you give alms, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be praised by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your alms may be done in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

That's utter bull. What about something like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation? Should they have remained anonymous? Of course not. Some people, when they hear about people doing good deeds want to go out and do something good themselves. If you think people talk about their good deeds because they want to show off then you are really sad. For example, I used to 350 hours voluntary work for the British Heart Foundation. Am I showing off? No, you daft p***k. I am just telling you something I did. It's a nice thing to talk about to people because it's interesting.

    Seriously, you are thick.
