    Hi all,

I'm doing a diploma and will have my unofficial (i.e, not certificated) results around June time. Last year I got my certificates for the first year of my course during early July, and we've been told it will be a similar situation next summer too. I doubt this is the case as it would be unfair on A level students, however could I be accepted to a university as soon as I get my certificates in July? I know the A level results won't be until August so I wouldn't have thought this would be the case, but worth an ask right?

It depends what offer you get. If you get an offer that is conditional on your exam results then yes, you will be accepted as soon as they have been told you've met the offer. You will probably need to notify the uni yourself as they do not receive all results automatically.
