Maths, Further maths and Physics for A2, but do you think there may be too many overlaps between them and that they don;'t show a broad enough range of subjects?

    - for my friend, she goin to be applying for economics next year (by the way, her fourth AS at the moment is history, apparently thats her worse subject, even though she scraped an A grade in it during assessments).

    cheers

Those subjects are very good for Physics or Maths degree because all they care about is how numerical you are. But for other degrees or jobs it might be a slight disadvantage because it doesn't show you're as rounded person as maybe a person that did maths, science, language and a humanity. Main thing to is to go for what you enjoy the most.

Good for a maths/physics degree and still good for an economics degree, though was economics not an option at the college? That might have been better as an addition, or replaced with physics or further maths.

Yeah, unless she wants to pick up AS Economics next year or even doing the whole A Level and replace FM or Physics. Might be a lot of work, but manageable tbh.
