    So urm yah, how do the new fees work?

    when are they start?.. and you are still able to get a loan for them right?

    Universities will be able to charge up to £9000 a year, starting in a couple of years time. Nobody pays these up-front. Instead, they act like any other student loan - when you start earning more than £21,000 a year, payments will be deducted from your salary.
