I know it's really simple, but I'm tired and can't seem to get work it out :P

whats the concentration of 100 cm^3 of 0.1M NaOH?

and then the same with this one

whats the concentration of 250 cm^3 of 0.025M ethyl acetate?

and just before anyone answers, do i convert 100 cm^3 into dm^3.
Since that would be where i'm going wrong :P

    Thanks

    I'm off to bed

"whats the concentration of 100 cm^3 of 0.1M NaOH?"

the amount you have is irrelevant to the concentration. That is 0.1M (it's already stated in your question)

"whats the concentration of 250 cm^3 of 0.025M ethyl acetate?"

again, the amount you have is irrelevant. The concentration is 0.025M whether you have 250 cm3 of it, or 25,000 gallons of it.

(You do realise that M just means moles per dm3, right?)

okay, i've horribly confused myself then :P

moles = mass / molar mass... yes?
and then concentration is moles / volume?

yes, moles = mass in grams / mr

and M is just concentration in moles per dm3
