Hi I'm doing the Edexcel A-level and my task is to get the high profit I can.
I have 2 variables; the price of a ticket, and the amount of people willing to buy at that ticket price.
The second variable changes proportionally to the ticket price.

So what I want to know is if there is way to use GoalSeek or some other function which which tries all possible prices and gets the highest profit.

If I haven't made anything clear please let me know, and I'll try to re-explain my situation.

    Thanks in advanced,
    Will.

What is the formula which relates the ticket price and number of people?

I haven't done ICT/Computing A-Level, but is that all it needs you to do? Find the optimum price?
