    Hi
Does anyone know how to calculate the tag field of a fully associative cache.

For example: a fully-associative cache with 1024 blocks/lines in which each block
    has 4 32-bit words with a 32 bit address.
I'm revising for an exam and cannot find out how to do this anywhere.

    Thanks

    32 - log(base 2) of 32
    32 - 5 = 27
Good luck in Informatics 2C exam lol
