    hey, I've applied to do economics L100 at Manchester, Sheffield, Newcastle and loughborough, and have heard back from all but one. just wanted your opinion as to which uni has the best, most prestigious, economics department.

    Manchester would be the most prestigious out of all of them , do you not have a fifth choice ?

    As a department Manchester produces the highest quality research, in other factors like contact time I'd have no idea.

    Manchester is slightly more reputable than the others andit would offer you more networking opportunities to meet employers at careers fairs.
