Are the requirements in the prospectus and online the highest offer they can give you Watch

Ok so I really, really, really want to go to York to study Writing, Directing and Performance. The requirements on the website and in the prospectus are ABB. I'm predicted AAA, but if I think my tutors were being a little ambitious. I'm going to try my very hardest to get that triple A, although I'm likely to come out with AAB/ABB. ABB lowest.

    1. Since I'm predicted AAA and they want ABB, is it more likely that they'll choose me?

    2. Can they give you conditional offers of above what they put on the site and in the prospectus?

    3. If so, is it likely that they'll up my conditional offer (if I get one) because my tutors said I could do it!?

Argh I'm so worried. I want York so, so badly, even though my other choices which I'm not so excited about are asking for AAB! Anyway, thanks for the help!

No, they can give you whatever offer they want. The offers in the prospectuses and online are just their typical offers.

I think its just a typical offer. They can offer higher. None of mine have but then again they are not what could be seen as over-competitive and over subscribed courses. It depends on how many applicants they get and the university. There have been stories of people on here who have been offered more than it says on the UCAS search bit and in the prospectus.
