    Hi

    I'm currently undertaking a BTEC national diploma in Graphic and Multimedia design.
    I was wondering if anyone knew the points guidline for UCAS?
    as in a pass is 8 merit 12 and distinction 18; ??? = MMM
    If that made any sense at all?

    First thing, are you sure graphic and Multimedia design is part of the BTEC? beacuse from searching the edexcel website this doesn't exist, so who is the exam board for your course

    and i don't think its 8 for pass more like 6 lol

    MMM=180

    as in a pass is 6 merit 12 and distinction 18; 180 = MMM

    For single unit's it's currently Pass = 6 Points, Merit = 12 Points, Distinction = 18 Points.

    however, some courses have double units which are worth double points, so pass = 12 points and so on so forth.
