I just feel so down lately.. I've just started uni, loving every minute of it (social aspect of it), made some great mates.. but it's the academic side of it that's getting me down..

I've just been so stressed these past few weeks, I can't motivate myself to work/study.. I know that I should study.. I have a few tests coming up, 2 exams aswell and I have done nothing to study for it! I just feel like "oh I'm going to fail.. no point in studying" and it's that type of things that keep constantly replaying in my head...

I just want someone to talk to really :|..

    Thanks for at least reading...

Quite simply, welcome to being a student.

I've got an assignment in monday and I'm a 3rd year, and I still haven't started it... It gets no better, you just learn to accept it.

I'm trying to get used to it.. really am.. and first semester is nearly over :O! time flies..

Like James' said, it's pretty common...with me at least, when I've not done enough work for something, I worry about not having done any work, which makes me too stressed to work! What I do is just tell myself to stop being daft and get on with it...it's the starting that's hardest, once you've done that it's so much easier to get it done. And I'm sure you won't fail if you do the work, but if you sit there not doing it you're pretty much bound to!

Yeah thats exactly how I feel when I ain't done work.. and that's pretty much most of the time!

Loads of people said to me "oh first year will be easy" and stuff like that.. but its not! Or at least I don't think so haha..

I'm on a mission to start working as of tommorrow (hopefully) :P

Haha it's definitely not easy, especially as you're having to get used to the amount of work...and especially doing chemistry good luck! You just have to get on with it really...

I know! The ammount of work is like treble that of school :P (slight exaggeration but you get my point haha)

I enjoy Chemistry, the course and the people.. I've been off all this week cause of the snow.. and guess what I've done.. basically nothing!

So yeah tommorrow I will study lol

And thanks! Glad to know I'm not the only student feeling bogged down with work :P
