Due to messing up my first two years, I could now graduate with a 2.1 (but not higher) Beng from UCL in Civil Engineering, and I will apply for a masters in Finance or Economics. However, I have the option to do a final year and obtain an Meng. I am positive that if I do so I will obtain a first class degree.
Would IBs look down upon the fact that I did practically an additional year that is not banking related?
To keep it simple,
Beng 2.1 + Finance masters VS Meng 1st. Which route would be better for IB?
Meng Vs. Beng dilemma. Would an Meng be looked down upon Watch

The title made me laugh, but I have no other contribution to this post.

I switched from MEng to BEng after being given an internship offer and they didn't mind. My grad offer is for a Chartered Financial Analyst scheme which was quite tricky to get on. So if it did hurt me it couldn't have been that bad.
