I've now had my 25th lesson and I have completed everything in the syllabuss. However my instructor wants to do more lessons on dual carriages and anticipating. I feel I'm fine at all that and want to get to my test. I have only done all the manoeuvres once, so he said were going to go back to them after we've ironed out my dual carriageways and anticipating. So based on this how many more lessons do you think I need to take before my test?

If you can do all the manoeuvres well, first time on your next lesson, and drive well on D/C's showing good awareness and defensive driving techniques then go ahead and book. It will be a few weeks to get a test anyway, so plenty of time to iron out any issues, and you can always reschedule (3x) up to 72hrs prior if you become worried about anything. It's YOUR test, you book it, you pay for it, you do it. You only need his professional judgement as to whether you're ready or not, and if you doubt him, get a second opinion from another instructor.
