    Hi guys, just wanted to know if BPP Law School compares to top univiersites such as; Kings College London, LSE, UCL, Edinburgh etc. Anyones help would be greatful.

    For undergraduate law? No, it doesn't have the same reputation or the same grade requirements.

    For the GDL or LPC yes, it compares well with other toppish universities that might offer these courses, such as the universities of Birmingham and Sheffield.

    For undergraduate law courses however, it does not usually compare favourably. BPP is a profit-making organisation and as such admits students without a strict grade requirement. I'd be surprised if many had been rejected. There are some instances of BPP LLB graduates being interviewed by top firms, but at the moment these are pretty rare.

    To err on the side of caution it's probably better to try to get into one of the universities you mentioned in your original post if at all possible.

    As far as I know BPP asks all applicants to carry out an individual assessment. Only if they pass the assessment are they made an offer and then they still have to meet the requirements of the offer in their exams. IMHO this is a lot more than some of the newer universities ask for. What BPP has over older unis is the route to the LPC, which many of the major firms recruit from.

    thanks for the advice guys, but would you say it is better compared to average unis that offer Law? As this university does work top law firms which can offer you contracts..
