Im dropping out of uni at the end of this term, so that leaves Jan-Sept with nothing to do. Course I could get a job, but id rather do something a bit more exciting or valuable, such as work exp, volunteering or travelling. Do most of these things have to planned in advance though? Im gonna spend all over xmas planning things out I think.

I think I had my gap year planned about 3 weeks before it happened and I went and worked abroad. Mine was a last minute thing, in fact, as I was applying, I hadn't even decided if I'd take a gap year or not :p:. So of course it's not too late!

It's not too late at all! Ofc some things may be more expensive than booking in advance but get planning now if it's what you want to do
