4-6 is the average. Is a poll really necessary?

I imagine the average is four. Most people I know are in groups of four. Some threes and occasional fives. My house is a group of six. It doesn't really matter how many you have in a house; we did ours through the uni and we could see houses with four bedrooms where going like wiildfire but saying that there were plenty of them too.

Does it matter what's average? Find a group of people you want to live with, and live with them.

Wonder why everyone's getting so offended by being asked how many are in their house. If the OP is interested then it's their right to ask.

Saying people are offended is a bit of an overstatement.

    Five people.

As an aside, I'm sick of first years house hunting ALREADY. It's forcing second years to have to decide whether to stay in our current houses or not really early! Annoying as ****.

I think it depends on the city, 'cos some cities it'll be hard to find 6+ bedroomed houses ect.
Next year we'll have 6 in our house.
