# C1 past paper question Watch

1. Question number 11 the last part.

So i did the following then they get a 5/2 from somewhere which don't know where, anyway next i do the following:

So then we get (-11/3<0)x<3 then they get threfore 5/2 less then or equal to x<3

i dont get where they get the 5/2 from

3. The 5/2 comes from simplifying the inequality of the perimeter.

4. The 5/2 gives the left hand side part of the inequality if you like. You should have discarded the -11/3 as lengths cannot be negative.

So in terms of the area x < 3

And in terms of the perimeter x > 5/2

So 5/2 < x < 3
