# As physics question help!! Watch

1. How do you go along to answer a question like this?? What will the answer be??

A force of 24N and a force of 15N act as right angles to each other

By using Pythagoras' Theorem... If you draw the two forces as arrows, tip to tail, (one going vertically up, and the other going horizontally right (or left..you choose ) the resultant force will be the hypotenuse of this hypothetical triangle. (using A^2=B^2+C^2)
3. At AS Physics if they ask for "the force" in a question like this, they want to see both magnitude and direction. So work out the magnitude as above then the angle above the horizontal using the arctan function.
