So I have never played COD. I know that the new onw Black ops has got everyone going crazy! I was thinking for asking for a COD game on PC for xmas. Should I get the first games because I have never played them or would you reccomend diving in and getting black ops?

    Thanks

Modern Warfare (first) still regarded as the best with mw2 and black-ops weaker (the former for unbalanced weapons the latter for graphics and glitches).

I've never played it either and doubt that I shall, it just doesn't appeal to me.

I've just sold Black Ops, glad to get rid of such an infectious game.

I have played MW but I didn't like it. I've played all the COD games following MW and I've not liked them either. I guess the only way you can find out if you like it is to try it, it is the type of game you can pick up and play straight away.

I don't recommend CoD at all. In my opinion, it's quite overhyped and there are better games out there.
Although I do find split-screen fun when my boyfriend sleeps over, but screaming and singing children online eventually made me find other, more better games.

COD 5 World at War is by far the best one I've played. Find MW2 silly to be honest.

Never played CoD 6 or Black Ops though.

ahaa So your going to be in the flood of noobs coming in this christmas. If you want the one everyone is playing then go for black ops. If you want the easiest one than guy for mw2, if you want challenging than go for cod4

I've never played COD either. Cod is a fish to me, lad, and best served with hollandaise and tarragon.

If you're going to get black ops on pc, make sure that your computer will actually be able to run it smoothly cos it's quite high spec. MW2 was alright for pc but quite laggy cos of no dedicated servers. WAW is brilliant and i still play it now. Never played previous cod's so i don't know much about them for pc

Anyone who likes CoD and thinks their opinion is valid is wallowing in self-doubt and confusion.
