Heya, I got a conditional offer from Edinburgh the other day to study French (as the title implies) with grades BBB - I'm so happy!

Is there anyone else on here applying for languages at Edinburgh? I'm just interested to know what other people got offered grade-wise, since the range was AAA-BBB and I thought if I got anything it would be higher. Not that I'm complaining!

Isn't French a bit exotic for Scotland?

That's true, but it's kind of fitting for me. I live in Guernsey so French is pretty close to home, but I'm half Scottish so I go there a lot and have relatives there too. It does seem a bit odd when I think about it... Though no more odd that studying it in Durham or Leeds or somewhere I guess.
