Basically i'm hoping to go to university next year to study creative writing. I haven't yet sent off my application but I will be doing so this week.

    my choices are:

    Huddersfield: English with Creative Writing

Kent: English & American Lit and Creative Writing (yr abroad)

Westminster: English Lang and Creative Writing

Winchester: Creative Writing and Politics and Global Studies

York St John: Creative Writing and English Lang

Also for those who feel some of those choices are really bad, any recommendations for good creative writing unis??

    thank you very much

I don't really want to watch this...
    My opinion
Huddersfield: To be honest, didn't even know Huddersfield had a university.

Kent: Surprisingly respected on TSR, will probably be the recommended - not a personal fan of it though, but hardly a bad uni.

The other three: Not awful, not great - like most unis, really.

For creative writing courses, you're not going to be able to study at a lot of the sort of unis people on TSR like to recommend, so you're probably better off dismissing a lot of the opinions I reckon you'll get on here and finding somewhere you're happiest with.

"Good" is quite a subjective term. What do you mean by "good" exactly?

    Good nightlife?
    Good location?
    Good ratio of midgets?
