At 5:10, but you should really listen to it from the beginning

If anyone posts a youtube riposte of some douchebag playing a million notes a second I'll kill someone.

Edit: If anyone cares Steve Gadd (the drummer) is also sick.

The bass solo on 'Hey' by Red Hot Chili Peppers is pretty epic

EDIT: Or pratically any song by Hendrix.

The start of 'Murder In The Skies' by Gary Moore.....http://www.myvido1.com/gYykTSjdEZhJ2...kies-victims-o

That man kicks the **** out of all other guitarists on the planet. No guitarist in any modern day rock band can play guitar like this.

This is probably my favourite live Hendrix show... insane. What I would give to be in the crowd, tripping on acid, listening to a genius.

Edit: Mitch Mitchell on the drums... My GOD.

I think we have a very simular taste in music. I would post a vid of 'rude mood' here or 'satch boogie'.

The OP posted a very good solo, I do love clapton. However, my favourite guitarist at the moment (and for the last few months) is mark knopfler:

David Gilmours two solos from Comfortably Numb are the best of all time. Without a doubt.

Seeing as no shred allowed, here is my favourite penta**** solo. There are nicer versions of this out there though, the one on his live record is much better:
