OPTION 3: Life on the margins - the Food Supply Problem

Explore the costs and benefits of strategies to increase food production in order to improve food security.

Research contrasting locations to draw out the range and scale of issues associated with increasing food production.

For anyone planning on doing this option for the exam, please reply with any ideas or feelings about the focus. I think it is clear we are focusing on the management strategies concerning food production so any ideas would be good for writing the report!

It sounds like a nice question and we have the advantage that it came up last year.

I wouldnt like to focus on boserups theory

I would like though to ave to talk about the extent of sustainability i think that would be a nice question and then you can look at a good scale
