HELP NEEDED ASAP! Sending an email to the admissions officer at a university! Watch

    Hi guys,

    I need to send an email to B'ham uni telling them to amend the offer i was give (it didn't include an A-level i already have). I phoned in and i was told that there was apprently conflicting information with made them think i had an AS rather than a full A2. How should i phrase such an email?

    Dear Ms ...

    Ucas ID: 106 ...

    I writing in regards to an of an offer than was made :confused:

    Please help asap!

    Yes, that's fine. Why don't you call them up instead? It's easier to explain to them what's gone wrong this way.

    Apparently the woman is not in & the lady i spoke to asked me to email (i would hate to ignore her after she gave me the email address )

    That sounds fine (apart from it should be 'I am writing', not that that's the point!). I sent one the other day (and was also worried about it) starting with 'Hi' and including (more than one...?!) exclamation mark and they responded postively. Like, more so than was necessary from their side. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Good luck.

    Thanks for the response - but how do i ask whether this piece of 'new' information will change my offer (grade-wise)?

    Does the following sound ok:

    Could you please inform me whether my offer will be amended to include my A-level.

    Sounds good to me. Or maybe they want you to complete another A level instead
